Yesterday I received a small box in the mail. I knew that I did not order anything and as anyone would be I was slightly confused as to why I was getting something.
Carefully, cause you know there are crazy people in the world (recall that whole unibomber thing, yea), I opened the box to find a small booklet about Kool Moe Dee and an up in coming Chi Town artist. The box also contained these small speakers:
So I plug them in (they came with batteries) and gave them a try. They aren't the greatest things I ever received in terms of function and quality. Some songs I could hardly hear and in fact thought the speakers for broken...still considering the fact that they were unexpected AND free I shan't scoff at them.
And while I don't tend to look a gift horse in the mouth, while doing some research I see that hundreds of thousands of people smokers and non smokers like myself received these over the last few days. I guess Kool (who seems to have sponsored the give away) just felt the need to send people a little gift....Ummm thanks good look...
