back
the tilt of my head
the gleam in my
chocolate colored eyes
and the smoothness
of my chocolate covered skin
will determine
a shift in what seems
indeterminable
a change in what was
termed unchangeable

Based on the reaction

released from the
base of your neck
provides the answer
to many a question

Some silly alternate
place forced an
immediate interaction
now the universe
punishes us for such
an oddly formed attraction

I and you
sip cool contentment
while picking sides
in a battle
who's outcome will
reveal a journey
which could take place
on a road seldom
traveled
or altogether ignored
